We painted the master bathroom a shade of tan with white trim. There are bronze faucets, dark stained woods, and a window I don’t know how to decorate. Venetian blinds? Café curtain? Roman shades? Swag? For now, there is a bronze curtain rod at the top and cheap white vinyl blinds. Until then , it’s the small touches that make a house a home.
Note the lack of plastic cover of the pull cords? With a needle, thread, clear nail polish, and a few beads left over from a jewelry project, I quickly customized the blind pull.

Love it! I’ve been thinking about beading some of my pull cords, and this is a good kick in the pants to get it done!
Did you fit both cords through the beads, or just one?
The beads are actually on thread below the cord (I trimmed off a bit at the bottom), then shoved my needle up into both cords and stitched it in place. I guess that’s hard to see since they’re stitched together.
Oooh, thanks! You solved that thing I’ve been trying to figure out 🙂
🙂
