A good family friend often makes this variation of cucumber salad when we get together for summer meals. Don’t let the twin like appearance of yesterday’s Greek Cucumber Salad fool you (maybe I should’ve sliced today’s cucumbers), this salad has a different taste.
Ingredients:
3-4 cucumbers, 1 c. sour cream, 1/8 c. sugar, 1/2 vidalia onion, 2 Tbsp. white vinegar, 2 Tbsp. dill weed, fresh ground sea salt, fresh cracked black pepper
Directions:
Cut cucumbers into small chunks. Dice onion. Mix together all ingredients. Keep chilled
Cucumber Week:
Pickled Cucumber Salad, Italian Cucumber Salad, Greek Cucumber Salad, Creamy Dill Cucumber Salad, Bleu Cheese Cucumber Salad, Salmon Cucumber Salad, Spicy Cucumber Salad
Making a different variation each day, certain helps us from getting sick of eating so many cucumbers… so far this week I’ve already eaten 5 myself!
Looks great! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for stopping by!
This sounds like a great salad. Just the right amount of tang and crunch. Excellent!
🙂 Thanks John!
