On the fifth day of Christmas YoungWifey shared with me, her gingerbread fudge recipe, peppermint bark, dark chocolate peanut butter balls, cracked glass candy, and her peanut butter fudge recipe…
Ingredients: 1 c. sugar, 1 c. brown sugar, 1/4 c, molasses, 1/4 c. light corn syrup, 3/4 evaporated milk, 1 c. mini dark chocolate chips, 2 Tbs. butter, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1 tsp. nutmeg, 1/2 tsp. ginger, pinch of salt
Directions: Combine the first five ingredients and salt in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Add chocolate chips and stir until mostly melted. Continue to cook until candy thermometer read 230°F. Remove from heat and add butter and spices, stir until it holds its shape. Pour fudge onto a wax paper lined 9 x 9 pan, tap pan on counter to level fudge. Let fudge cool, then cut into squares.
