On the third day of Christmas YoungWifey shared with me, her dark chocolate peanut butter ball recipe, cracked glass candy and her peanut butter fudge recipe…
This recipe is adapted from another student of mine’s recipe. Of course with Peanut Butter in the title, this is another one of Hubster’s favorites. Some people call these Buckeyes, but I’m not sure how different they are.
Ingredients: 1 1/2 lbs. confectioner’s sugar, 16 oz. of peanut butter, 1 c. butter, 12 oz. dark choc. chips, 1 Tbs. vegetable oil
Directions: You might have to do two batches for this first part. In a food processor, mix together peanut butter, butter and the sugar until well combined. Shape mixture into 1″ balls. Refrigerate to harden. In a double boiler, combine chocolate and oil, stirring until melted. Using a toothpick, dip each ball into the chocolate until well covered, place on wax paper lined cookie sheet. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
*You can also make this with milk chocolate, I just prefer dark.
Don’t forget to check my blog tomorrow to see which tasty treat I’ll be sharing.
These sound good, I love the dark chocolate Resse’s Cups.
I love the snow! I am SO going to try that fudge recipe – sis and I are eating some now bought at the PCX – it’s good…but still, it would be nice to have it home made…
I love the dark chocolate and I especially like these when they are made tiny.
